On June 2nd a UK examining body EdExcel has presented the following questions in its Russian Language A'Level final written exam:
- Does Pushkin in Britain take place in the summer on in the winter
(assuming the DOB of A.S.Pushkin)
- Are the Poetry Tournament entrants from across the globe or from Russia?
- How many stages are there in the tournament?
(A short description of Pushkin in Britain Festival was given before the questions)
This only means one thing - Every kid in the UK and N. Ireland that had taken a Russian A-level today will now know what Pushkin in Britain is, as it was their duty to know the answers to these questions!!!
